Ndanda Community Grows....

It was all smiles, on the 11th July in the abbey church of Ndanda when the community celebrated the solemnnity of St. Benedict with the profession of five confreres. After being in the noviciate for two years, at last five novices - Bro Antony (Mbulu diocease), Bro. Bernardo (Dar es Salaam), Bro. Baltasar (Iringa), Bro. Bonaventre (Tanga) and Bro. Methodius (Mbulu) - made their first vows. Bro. Baltasar is a profesional tailor while Bro. Bernardo is a trained accountant. These two will immediately start their work in the community. The rest three expect to begin philosophical studies on their way to priesthood later this year.

Bro. Revocatus Lilungulu was the only one this year who made his final profession. Hailing from Lindi Diocese, Bro Revocatus is a teacher by profession, specialized in vocational training curriculum. Currently he is working in our Mission Press and train the youngsters who work there. He also teaches English and other subjects to students who are training in other workshops.  We are happy to strenthen our missionary force. We wish them God's blessings for the many years ahead.

This symbolises his saying "good-bye" to the world as he embarks his life long journey as a missionary-monk.
